1997 Rainier Days in the Park Parade

I never posted these pictures from the 1997 Rainier Days in the Park Parade on my website, because they didn’t turn out very well, but in the interest of completion, they are presented here for the first time.

Here are pictures of the Rainier Days in the Park Parade on July 12, 1997. These pictures were taken at the corner of C Street and East 5th Street. The parade started at Rainier Middle School, came down 5th Street to C Street, then came down 1st Street and crossed Highway 30 to A Street.

This 1988-1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Convertible carried Grand Marshal Alice Morgan

This 1961-1966 Dodge Town Panel carried Grand Marshal Roland Curteman, who once owned Hallberg’s Market, which the truck is painted for.
