1912 Republic Model 12 3-Ton Flatbed Truck on August 3, 2008
Early in the century, Republic was one of the fastest-selling trucks in the nation, at one time claiming to sell twice as many vehicles as its closest competitor. The company eventually merged with other manufacturers and by 1920 had become part of General Motors.

This 1912 Republic Model 12 3-Ton Flatbed Truck was restored by Doug Vermeer, with the body built by Stu Porter. It was donated by Del and Joyce Hewitt.

This 1919 Republic Stakebed Truck was purchased by Woodcock Brothers to haul grain to their flour mill in Maupin, Oregon. It is owned by Larry Hall.
