Snowfall in Milwaukie, Oregon on December 20, 2008
The snow from December 14th melted, but on December 20th more snow arrived. By that night over 4" has accumulated on my deck railing.

The next day the snow continued to fall, briefly interrupted by freezing rain in the late afternoon. Over 8" of snow had accumulated on my deck. Notice the layer of ice formed by the freezing rain.
