Hood River City Hall on June 10, 2009
The Hood River City Hall was built in 1920 by local contractor L.C. Baldwin and was dedicated in February 1921 by Mayor E.L. Scobee.

It housed city offices and the council chamber on the main floor and the fire and police stations on the lower floor.
