Log Truck on Highway 30
On a summer day in 1997, this Kenworth log truck lost its stinger in the middle of Highway 30 in Rainier, Oregon.
The log truck's trailer ended up in the middle of the highway, and the driver seemed at a loss about how to solve this dilemma.
The truck belonged to C-L Logging of Rainier, Oregon.
Eventually, a self-loading log truck came along and helped out, picking up the dropped trailer.
As the new log truck lifted the trailer into the air, the original truck maneuvered into position.
The trailer was an unusual sight, hovering over the highway.
The first log truck backed under the dangling trailer, which was then lowered into place.
With the situation resolved, the log trucks could continue on their way, and the backed up traffic could finally be released.
