James Cockshutt formed the Cockshutt Farm Equipment Company of Brantford, Ontario, Canada in 1877. It was incorporated in 1882. It is best known for its tractors from 1946-1957. The company was bought out by the Oliver Corporation in 1962. Nearly the entire production line of Cockshutt Tractors; starting at the back are the 20, 30, 40 and 50 from the 1950s. In the front is a 570 Super from 1961-62, an example of Cockshutt's last production model.
