Moreland trucks were built in Los Angeles from 1914 to the early 1940s. This 1916 Moreland Model N 3/4-ton Stakebed Truck is thought to be the only one still in existence of just 15 built that year. Originally used on a ranch near Yreka, California, Warren Wedekind found it disassembled and left to rot under a tree. The bed design is typical of beer delivery trucks of the era. Warren Wedekind donated it to the museum.
