Oregon Fire Service Museum at the 2007 Great Oregon Steam-Up

The Oregon Fire Service Museum was founded in 1993. The museum is raising funds to build a museum facility at Antique Powerland to store their collection of firefighting apparatus. Some of this equipment was on display during the Great Oregon Steam-Up on August 4, 2007.

Corvallis Fire Department 1936 American LaFrance Ladder Truck

This 1936 American LaFrance City Service Ladder Truck was originally purchased by the Corvallis Fire Department and remained in service until 1979. It was then maintained by the department for several years for use in parades and community events.

Gaston Fire District 1938 Ford/Neep Fire Engine

This truck was built by Ford in 1938 and was used as a wood delivery truck around Gaston, Oregon. It was purchased by the Gaston Fire Department in 1940 and was converted to a fire engine by the Neep Equipment Company. This was the second apparatus Neep made. The Neep Equipment Company became Western States Fire Apparatus, which built fire trucks until 2003.

This 1944 Seagrave 85-Foot Aerial Ladder Truck was purchased new by the Centralia Fire Department in Washington. It was later acquired by the Clatskanie Fire Department in Oregon. After its retirement it was purchased by Jeff Dahl, and after his death his family donated it to the Oregon Fire Service Museum. It was restored in 2005.

Oregon City Fire Department 1950 Kenworth/Howard Cooper

This 1950 Kenworth/Howard Cooper pumper was originally owned by the Oregon City Fire Department. After it retirement it was used as fire protection by an Oregon City paper mill on the Willamette River.
