The front fenders were cropped so the tires didn't rub when turning over potato mounds and a wooden drive shaft guard keeps potato vines out of the universal joints. The gas tank filler cap is between the driver's feet in cab.

This 1947 Dodge WF-34 was purchased new from the C.A. Urness Motor Company in The Dalles, Oregon, and was originally used on a wheat ranch in Grass Valley, Oregon. Its bed was transferred from an older truck. It was used by its original owner through 1992. It currently wears the logo of the Tillamook County Creamery Association and was on loan to the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum from Ray Splinter of Portland, Oregon.
