After Ransom E. Olds left the Oldsmobile Motor Car Company, he started a new company called Reo, which took its name from his initials. This 1917 Reo Flatbed Truck features electric lights, sheet metal fenders and an F-head engine with overhead intake and in-block exhaust valves. The gas tank is mounted on the dashboard, above the gauges and  the starter is mounted on the transmission. Bob Huser of Portland restored this truck and donated it to the American Truck Historical Society, who loaned it to the museum. It has been adopted by Jack Wolff.
