The Avalon Theatre, on the northwest corner of 35th and Belmont, diagonally across from the Belmont Firehouse, was built in 1913 as the Sunnyside Theatre and renamed the Avalon in 1935. The main theater was split into three theaters in the '70s, and it became Wunderland Games' Avalon Theatre & Game Room in 1987.
