Statue of Reverend Jason Lee on September 4, 2006
This statue on the Oregon State Capitol grounds by Gifford Proctor, Sr. and G. M. Proctor depicts Reverend Jason Lee (1803-1845), first missionary in Oregon and colonizer, 1834-1843. The statue was dedicated in 1953.
