On display in front is Salem's 2,000-pound Fire Bell, which was cast by Meneely & Company of West Troy, New York in 1882.

This bell was originally mounted on a tower behind the 200 block of North High Street.

The bell was moved to the roof of Salem's City Hall in 1897.
