The original Henry Weinhard's brewery was located here because of the availability of abundant spring water. This building was built in 1895. It was leased by Frank Busch in 1897 and became a furniture store. The building was purchased by Hogg Brothers Furniture around 1910, but the store continued to be operated by the Busch family. Frank Busch's grandson bought the building in 1969. Today, Tom Busch Home Furnishings still occupies the building, and with five generations in the furniture business, is the oldest family-owned furniture store in Oregon.
