Blowers Building on June 10, 2009
This building was built in 1909 by Samuel and Laurence Blowers. Laurence Blowers was one of Hood River's first mayors and was appointed U.S. Deputy Marshall and County Judge in 1906. The building originally housed a hardware store and a "modern playhouse" with offices on the second floor. Today it is home to Doug's Sports.
