The Shattuck School was designed by Architect F.A. Naramore and was built in 1915 as an elementary school.

It was acquired by Portland State University in 1969 and is now known as Shattuck Hall and is home to Portland State University's Department of Architecture.

The building is named for Erasmus D Shattuck, a member of the 1857 Oregon Constitutional Convention, a former Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court, a trustee of the Portland Academy and a founder of the Portland Library.
