I originally posted the PORTLAND PLACES: Plaza Blocks page on my old website on March 17, 2010.
The Plaza Blocks in downtown Portland are among the oldest park spaces in the city. Today they are mostly surrounded by public buildings housing offices for various levels of government. Research sources for the following posts include Portland Parks & Recreation, Emporis, Wikipedia and the book Portland: Yesterday & Today by Ted Katauskas. The following posts include links to historic photographs from the University of Oregon Library Digital Collections.
