Standard Insurance Center on February 15, 2010
Across SW Salmon Street from the Multnomah County Courthouse and adjacent to Lownsdale Square is the Standard Insurance Center. It was completed in 1968 as the Georgia-Pacific Building and was the tallest building in Portland and the tallest reinforced concrete building in the world. Standard Insurance purchased the building in 1984.
