The brothers moved their merchandising store, Yasui Brothers Mercantile, into this new $20,000 concrete building in July 1930. This was their third store and they operated the business until World War II, when the US Government relocated Japanese families to internment camps and seized their property. Today the building is occupied by Ground Coffee.
