This flour mill dates back to the 1860s, when the oldest warehouse, which was recently demolished, was built for Zenas Ferry Moody's wool business. The remaining warehouse was built later in the 1800s. The original flour mill was destroyed in a 1911 fire and was rebuilt. At that time, it was known as the Wasco Warehouse Milling Company.

In 1946 the mill became United Mills, and in 1952 became Sunshine Biscuits, which it remained until 1983. Other more recent owners have Interior Elevator Company and Pacific Northwest Milling Company.
