Second Wasco County Courthouse on June 10, 2009
The second of three Wasco County Courthouses, this Italianate building was built in 1881 with county offices on first floor, a jail in the rear, a courtroom on the second floor and an octagonal clock tower with a Seth Thomas clock that has now served almost 100 years. The second floor now houses the Masonic Lodge Hall. Until recently, the first floor was the Smith Callaway Chapel funeral home but in 2009 was renovated to become the Clock Tower Ales brewpub.
